David Doubble, OBE, MA FRICS; Chairman
David Doubble has spent his professional career in investment generally and property in particular. From 1988 to 1996 he was Head of Property at Friends' Provident Life Office, then one of the UK's largest mutual insurance companies, and now part of Resolution plc, the FTSE 100 insurer where he was responsible for an investment and development portfolio of some £2 billion. Between 1975 and 1988 he was Property Director of Rothschild Asset Management Limited, the investment arm of NM Rothschild & Sons Limited, the Merchant Bank.
Christopher Holdsworth, Dip Prop Inv (RICS); Chief Executive
Christopher Holdsworth worked in banking for the first 20 years of his career, specializing in property finance. From 1989 to 1996 he was Head of Property Finance for The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank Limited, a Japanese bank then ranked largest in the world by total assets. His responsibilities include coordination of financial and investment strategies and the financial structuring of property acquisitions and disposals as well as sourcing new investment opportunities and investor liaison. He has a wide range of contacts in the banking markets upon which to draw in order to select the most appropriate funding structure on each occasion.
David Hemmings, BSc, MRICS, Dip Prop Inv; Property Director
David Hemmings has spent his entire career in property investment. Originally with Edward Erdman, he has been a Property Fund Manager with Henderson Global Investors since 1990. He has been a Director at Henderson since 1994 and for 6 years he was Fund Manager of the Henderson UK Property Fund, which consistently achieved top-quartile performance against its peer group. He remains in a consultancy/non executive role within Henderson.
